Each year we try to provide the most comprehensive and accurate reporting that we can. For consistency, and to aid understanding, we apply reporting rules to our data. We have three sets of rules:

• Volume Statistics Rules relate to our reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and mains water usage attributable to all businesses and facilities under Investa's operational control.
• Intensity Statistics Rules relate to our reporting of energy, greenhouse emissions, water and waste statistics for Investa's managed office portfolio and are summarised here in our Schedule of Assets and Reporting Status.
• Data Visualisation Rules relate to the 'data' section of our Sustainability Report which covers all office buildings under Investa's operational control between 1 July, 2003 and 28 February 2010.
